Experience:
Samuel Sannie has over 30 years experience in ice carving and has traveled around the country
working with prestigious hotels and culinary establishments. While working in a Boston hotel in
the late 1970s and pursuing his degree in chemistry with art as a minor, the founder of Eyes4ice,
Samuel Sannie learned and perfected his craft. His developing ice carving talent gave him the
opportunity to work with renowned chefs in the Boston metropolitan area during that era, which
resulted in Samuel's work being featured in magazines, news media and advertisements.
Samuel is among the pioneers in Boston, Massachusetts who started doing outdoor sculptures in
the early 1980s around New Year's Eve, an event that has now grown to be highly celebrated
annually.
